The Firehouse Restaurant 50th Anniversary

In August of 2010, 400 guests were invited to celebrate the 50 year Anniversary of The Firehouse Restaurant in Old Sacramento. The restaurant, a converted firehouse, was the site of five hours of festivities. The labyrinth of rooms featured a different “gold” theme décor ~ from signature gold martinis to gold nuggets under glass and gilt-framed signage. Presentations in the Courtyard were highlighted with the reveal of a 4’x10’ banner bearing the new Firehouse wine label. Food, wineries, a Sinatra tribute band and gold beads and colorful boas handed out by twins in long gowns crowned the delightful, entertaining evening.
